I graduated from UMBC in 2007 with a Bachelor's in Information Systems. I originally thought I'd like to design and maintain websites but decided to dive into backend infrastructure and security instead. I've got 10 years experience as an IT professional in the federal sector.

I like to stay aware of market trends in tech for the consumers since I enjoy new gadgets and tech. Over the last 10-15 years I've used a broad range of gadgets and brands: Apple devices and computers, Windows PCs, Chromebooks, Android phones and tablets, smart TVs, Amazon Echo, Nest cams, Nest thermostat, wifi light bulbs, smart plugs, Chromecast, Roku, wireless printers.
